Default RE: Axe CP Flight time..

....on fire!?! Hope that doesn't happen to me. I run (2) green peas back to back or I run (1) LiPo only then do a cool down period. Sometimes after a Lipo run, I use a small hairdryer I have set on cool air just to blow some air over the motor and heat sink. The tail motor doesn't worry me as much because I haven't seen the temperature of it get above 100. I'm gonna experiment with some different heat sink types on a new main motor including the stock heat sink to make a hybrid that will fit in the frame. Like using heat sink compound to stick a modified sink on each side of the motor. It might stick out of the frame a bit but the surface area might give it a cooling boost. My friend has a boat and he made a heat sink that holds a piece of dry ice in it which really keeps his motors from getting ridiculously hot. As we all know when it evaporates, there's no residue left to harm the motor.
