What's a good temp Woodie?

My controllers never get over about 30 degrees above ambient and I know that is well below the default cutoff. I would start at about 160-170 F (I think you set the Spin in C so you will have to do the conversion yourself) that should give you some buffer yet provide a safety limit in case of heat problems.

JimO, what temps have you been seeing on your Spins?

Woodie
I measured the ESC temp after landing today and measured 85F. At this point the Spin was indicating 29C (84.2F) so there is good correlation. The message is that the contoller cools off from its peak in flight temp during the landing sequence so you need to set the over temp cutoff well above what you measure on the ground after a flight. Your 160-170F sounds like a minimum. I might go 190F.
