Sure, that's a fair call that any 3rd party would have done their research.

To put my rationale in a different way, how does anyone beit OS or Macs, etc know exactly how you're going to set up your engine and what style of plane it will power??

OK, we'll throw away luck for a second, but surely you would see the benefit of adjusting the variables as listed? And by doing this if you get 80% of the pipes benefit just by fitting it you could get 100% by tweaking things? Is that fair to say?
