Boy, I would think the extra weight of the gas engine would kill the perfomance of that plane. Course, everyone told me a US 41 CC engine wouldn't work in a Dynaflight PT-19 and I did it and it is amazing. Check the weight diff and the HP diff and see what they are. should be able to get the US info from tower and the saito info from horizons site.
