Good luck on the rebuild.

Only advise I can give is:

1. Take your time. Make sure everything is straight and true. It doesn't cost you any money or frustration to think on things a little before committing to glue and balsa.

2. Make friends at the Local Hobby Shop (LHS). Find the ol' coots. And ask them for help/advise. They'd probably love nothing more than to pass on their experience and stories to a youngin'.
