Default RE: Ebay / hong kong heli's, the good / bad / ugly?

thanks clemen. Tzeming is a Chinese name and I am originally from HK. I am now live in Sdyney for more than 15 years.

I am new in this hobby ( less than a year ) and I notice different country sell different heli due to the different market demands. I went back to HK last christmas and I noticed that there isn't a lot of hobby shops selling Raptor , however T-rex is everywhere. there is really only one shop sell Mikado product, and only a few Hirobo and Century product in street, don't even think about Synergy ,joker, or Avent. Also difficult to get JR products. hobby things in Australia are generally 15% to 20 % more expensive than in HK because of tax and higher labour cost.

However I am quite surprised to see there are so many RC hobby shops in HK, almost five times more than in the whole Australia. so many people into this RC hobbies and the market demands is definitely there and so many oversea people buying from HK as well because of the lower tax.

there is a lot of people flying heli in England and across the Europe too. but in Australia, not a lot even we have a lot of space , however the government regulation for this hobby is quite strict that not a lot of place you can fly.

what heli do you fly ? and where do you fly it.
