RE: Diff leaking?
I would just go ahead and take it apart. If there is a leak it won't stop leaking until you fix it. My dad's hyper 7 came with leaking shocks and he had to fix that but ever since then it's been smooth sailing. This will also be a learning experience, you will get to know your car better in the process. While your at it you could also change your center diff and rear diff as well, but it's not necessary. A good guideline for your diff setup would be 5/7/1(or 2) front/center/rear. Welcome to RC!
