That just how long it is on my 100. I'd say put a line on the nipple and run it out of the plane, the crank case seems to blow out as much oil as the exhaust . BUT I always make sure oil is comming out of it, that means there is oil in the bottom end. Oh I almost forgot, depending on how you mount the engine, you might have to lube the rockers.
