Thanks Rush7, When I mentioned opinions I was to refering to my day at the field. You know how it is when you bring out a new model, especially a pretty one like this. Your trying to focus on your issues but everyone wants to comes over and ask you what's the problem. If you don't tell them they might assume your stuck up and if you do youll hear another suggestion that you will never have a chance to try before the next person arrives.
Your suggestion really hit home because I had that gound connected to one of the hold down bolts of the carburator which screws into a semi metalic block ( Terry from CH told me this block was a very poor ground and made the same suggestion as you). When I get the new hall effect sensor in the mail I will definitly try this out. I thought I had that lead screwed onto the same bolt when I had this engine in my bipe which had no issues but I'm not entirely sure.
