hey guys, im just getting into 3D flying and i got a Twist 40 at my hobby shop today for $80. they had a sale going on so i couldnt pass it up. i have an O.S. 46 FX engine that im going to put into it. i want to be able to eventually perfom vertical hovering and i was wondering if that would be possible with this plane/engine. i will definately post vids when i fly it.
ofnamx...I used to have a 46FX in my T _ _ _ T, and it will fly your plane just fine, however, if you want to fly a little bit more acrobatic and want plenty of pull out power, I would strongly recommend a little more powerful engine. I'm afraid that vertical hovering will be quite a challenge with this engine. Be aware, you want enough power to pull out of a hover when you feel you can't hold her any longer in a hover.
