Vintage Kyosho parts are somewhat harder to come by than Tamiya. Ultimately, Tamiyas are the most desirable in the vintage community, with Kyosho following. Granted, there are some Kyoshos which are very valuable and rare, the market is not as large.

Some of the most popular resto projects that are feasible to accomplish are the Bruiser and the SRB series from Tamiya. You can build stock or hunt down aftermarket hop-ups, while retaining value.
