RE: Yak 54 control throws
Thanks for the info Fastplane. Interestingly, that's about where I have my control throws set. Let me know how your plane reacts to those control throws and the center of balance.
Like you, I don't want a nose heavy bird (I've shed the gear on a Giles 202 because it was a tad nose heavy), but also don't want one so tail heavy that it is overly sensitive or that likes to snap-roll. I prefer to have my models set in the middle of the balance range, with a neutral nose/tail attitude.
