My 2 1/4" spinner is at Tru-turn getting the slot enlarged. I'd rather pay them to modify it, at least I know it'll be right. I trust them way more than I would myself and a Dremel! I'd hate to take a chance and have a badly balanced spinner, bet that would be hard on the bearings not to mention the airframe. At least I know how to balance props. Tru-turn says it's a waste of time to try and balance a spinner. Whether that's bs, don't ask me.
