It's size although bigger is still small enough to be able to check the function while holding it in your hand (a little scary though).
LOL... this is how I bench test my heli too. I have had some blade stikes to myself from not being careful. Until I have a heli that can draw blood I will continue showing off my stupidity...just glad to hear I'm not alone. [8D]
I had a Walkera dragonfly fixed pitch lay me wide open...bled like a stuck pig. That heli is smaller than the Blade series heli and uses a N20 tail motor. Main motor might have been a 180 sized (LOL). The blades that are stock are composite carbon and they're sharp I'll tell ya.
