I think the best Starter car is the TC4

You can get Chassis for less then $100 bucks, and they are great cars. I drift mine everyday.

However, most of the cars out now are pretty good. Just do some research, and decide for yourself

One thing I like about the TC4 is the parts are readily available at my LHS, not to mention you can always get parts on ebay for cheap. Check to see what your LHS carries, I would say choose a decent car that they support and stock parts for.
