Ah, I see. There's not much metal there for a (3mm?) hole. A bit beyond my metal working ability I think.

The original muffler used the strap method as shown. It is a bit crude and ugly and tends to vibrate loose. I had hoped Enya had produced something better. Do I take it from the web site that this engine is still being produced - very surprising.
