Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

OK...Here's the HBKII in a nut shell:

Likes...

*belt drive (finally getting used to it).
*Tail pitch (AKA the POT on the CP/CPP) right on the TX and can be adjusted in flight.
*very stable but don't put it up in gusty winds because the gryo will try to compensate and it's all over the place
*as close to a T-Rex as you can get cept smaller.
*electronics seem to be pretty good quality.
*The bird in general is leaps and bounds in quality and engineering compaired to anything I've seen to date.

I'm VERY satisfied in this unit.

Dislikes,

*remove the canopy to get the battery out (PITA).
*landing skids are too narrow in my book.
*stock motor (super 370) burns out after a few flights.
*instruction manual incomplete and vague...gives no instructions on the TX controls at all, and don't go into detail on trimming etc.

In retrospect, the CP-Pro was an excellent choice to stepping up to the HBKII. Remember...I had no heli experience and went from Walkera DF#4 FP to Blade CP, then CP-Pro, and now the HBKII. The HBKII is a much more complexed heli than the Blade series in every way. And at first...harder to fly till I learned the querks of the HBKII. I'll always remember the headaches the Pro caused and I'll never forget how well it flew when I sold it[:'(]
