Crash, you ROCK[8D] I trimmed about 3/16ths off of the DD tail rotor blade, balanced it, and flew. The tail motor just got slightly warm, not hot like before. Now I need to put the 8t on because the Slo-max got a bit to hot. So...... are screeching noises bad when you throttle down[X(] Yeah that was bad. The motor seems to be running fine afterwards but Hobby-Sports.com has another Slo-max in stock just in case, I love those guys

It does very well in my backyard, I guess we'll see how it does again in forward flight.
God Bless You All!
I also landed myself a 8t & will be throwing that on in hopes of longer flight times and cooler batt/motor temps..... The 9t makes it a screamer but I think I should be using better batts for the draw it creates.
Also what tail prop are you guys using? The square bladed one or the narrow tapered one. I use the narrow (which has a little less grab) and never have any probs with the tail getting real hot. If you are having to trim the square one you may just want to concider running the other prop in the first place.
Hey theradioflyer, God Bless You & your hobby store! I am jelious my lhs are more like the Wal-mart toy isle just with worse inventory....[
