Lookyj,
Two things, first and most important is the following that you posted, and very true. Alot of knowledge here and the comradrey is great, we talk about our daily experiences with the heli, good or bad. Help each other out in the blink of an eye. As you said, Hang out with Friends!.. We can always cry on each others shoulders or whine abit in bad times and everyone understands. We all have that bond, and that's GREAT.
Item two: You got me interested when you said your first post was in February. Hmmmm, I knew I was close in that area. So, being a data freak, I checked it out. You're first post was number 109 on February 3... My first post was number 116 on February 3.
Do-do-do-do, Do-do-do-do, sci-fi.
Your Post:
Rick Ol' Buddy, this thread will NEVER DIE!!!
there is such a collection of information, advice, and comradery on this thread that is has taken a life of it's own.
thank you ALL for making what this thread is, has become, and will always be....
a great place to pass some time and hang out with friends!

Crash,
Sorry to hear about the busted up hand and going into surgery, hang tight. Yep, when it rains it pours. Let us know how the surgery comes out, best to get it corrected rather than deal with all the pain. Wow, you waited 2 years to get it corrected.. Hmmm, I'm the same way, hate going to the doctors office for anything.
I'm like you, I have a nice big area in the basement too, 13 x 35, and a 7 foot drop ceiling. I have it fixed up with real nice paneling, except for a few deep scratches from blade strikes, it looks great.

Setting the proportional and gain are tricky, a little here and a little there. It takes some tweaking and many trial and error hovers to get it where you want it. Before you start the process, plug in a fresh battery pack, spool up and let it spin in normal mode to where it's getting light and let it run for about 2 minutes, then adjust the proportional and gain. Give'r a try.
