And the cool quiet sound of a saito at 1/4 throttle putting around in a harrier pass........I had a saito 45 on my magic for a little while, and needed bearings, so performance was a little down comared to the 11/6 prop. I was turning an 11/4 or an 11/3 to get the rapid throttle transition required for hovering/TR'n on 15% nitro. I'm sure some increases would be made with the new bearings and higher nitro. My magic was just at 4lbs with the saito, and it took close to full throttle to hover it. I had a TT36 (which I think is THE engine for this plane) running an 11/3 or 11/4 props. The plane was at 3 3/4 lbs with the 36, and performance was spectacular.
