Funny you should mention Top Gun... I remember the year it was released. I was living in Adelaide and driving to work or whatever and SA-FM had a competition to ring in and win 2 tickets to the opening screening. At this stage I hadn't heard anything about the movie...

I won 2 tickets and later mentioned it to my wife and she said something like "That's nice dear!" as they do... and she asked if we were going and I said (in all seriousness)


wait for it....



"Nah.... I can't be bothered going to see a western"

It became one of my favourite films of all time but well.. I just happened to miss the opening night [:@]
