The glow plane, whichever you choose, will be significantly larger and faster than the two you've already flown. Adding to that is the complexity of the engine itself. Enlisting the help of an instructor to check out the plane before you start it, to show you safe engine handling, help you tune it, and then help you fly it until you are comfortable, would be a really good idea.
