Personally I have noticed this for a long time, They (some members) dont even try to find the right forum.

It took 16/18 days to get a response to My similar thread ( Off Topic, Out of Topic) in this same forum.???

So yes the Mod's are vaulenteers, Thats appreciated.

RCU is a Clean site, with good intentions and rules that are fair.

But I feel like a jerk if I report a post that should be in another forum, Or a post that has been spammed.

A post/thread that has vulgar or off the wall attack on another member, is what I would consider the "Report this post" button is for. And it would take all the enjoyment out of it if I had to point things out, that are so obvious.

I don't even like typing this, but it really bothers Me that it has gotten so out of hand.

Marc You say over and over Its a Slippery Slope, You allways have an excuse. But take a look for Yourself, Forum topics are being ignored and posts are anywhere and everywhere.

Not only that the threads and posts increase Bandwidth cost, but they make allot of us feel as 'ShempHoward' does.

Mod's reply to threads when they are clearly out of topic or off topic, and don't give it a second thought. Yes they are human and are trying hard to keep the site clean, and do their best.

As said many times before, Common Sense" should be used. If it was then rules would not be needed,
Rcu has 3500 posts per day, 50 mods. If it has gotten so large so fast why not add more mods? The don't cost anything, Right?

How many people have more than one RCU accnt.? How many members don't read the rules? If I send a PM complaining about a post or topic, how long would it be before I am singled out as a trouble maker? Where is the enjoyment??

I still think its a great site, And I appreciate ALL THE EFFORTS.
