Should have my tail motor here soon.

Anybody else have problems with the tail motor getting weak? Mine was pulsing at full right tail stick. Could be the higher voltage of the li-po battery shortens the life of the tail motor. OR, the longer flight times create heat in the motor which shortens life.

Oh well, 2 are on the way. Can't get enough HELI CRACK!

I "quote" myself.[X(]

Installed first tail motor and ended up with some issues. Sounds slow, ran different. Installed second motor, after grinding some slots in the screws (if you buy a new motor, get the screws too. You will probably ruin them cause they are coated with thread locker).

Took her out in the garage and everything is back to normal. These micro motors have a hard time with 11.1 volts. Just today found Bphobbies.com has 6x12mm motors for about $4. Might be a good replacement instead of $25.

Watch out for heating up the solder too much. Could end up melting the plastic motor end cap.

Bad screws, melting motors, sluggish tail, slow thumbs, fricken wind, everythings working against me!
