Hi guys
Has anyone had radio iterference problems due to the installation of a Tam Gear Failsafe unit?
I have just installed a second one of these units in a SM F5. During initial range checks I found that various flying surfaces on the jet were jittering. I changed the antenna position, but still the jitters. Then I changed the receiver, but still the jitters. Finally I started unplugging various servo leads from the receiver. The moment I unplugged the retract servo all the jitters stopped. I then plugged the retracts servo back in without the Gear Failsafe unit (being on a y-lead), and no jitters. The moment I plug the Y-lead with the Gear Failsafe unit in, the jitters started again.
I was about to install another Gear Failsafe unit in the F5 when I remembered that I had similar jitter problems on my SM F15 a while back. In this case moving the antenna had sorted the jitters out and I have been flying the jet without any problems. I decided to put the antenna on the F15 back to it's original position, and back came the jitters on the elevators. You guessed it ......... as soon as I took the Gear Failsafe unit out of the receiver on the F15, the jitters stopped.
Please let me know if I am doing something wrong as the Gear Failsafe unit is realy a great idea. What's more I bought a few of them to eventually install on all my jets ...........
Cheers

I don't know how many unit we had install and sold.
This problem we never experience. So there is no answer to your problem.
If you can. Send that unit back to me for inspection. I like to find out why that unit you had problem and I send another new unit to you.
