thanks for the help.
redusing the rate : do you mean the charging amps? it is a 2000mah nicd and i had it set at 1.00amps. you mean to lower it more?
also, if i leave it at 1.00 amps and 2 cell instead of 1 cell is it posible to make a damage to the cell? i ask becuse somebody told me that you must not use high amps at new or completly discharged cells.
what mv do you mention to cut in half? at the peak detection circuit? i set it at 6mv.
