The fan motor is a 6 volt Heater motor out of a VW, brand new never used. Bought at a swap meet for $5. Boat will be 29 1/2"x 9 1/2" . This is the very early stages of building process . Trying to get some good ideas on all kinds of setups.
I thought as much...

29 1/2", lightly build, still is material for a geared down 600 or a direct drive 700 motor.
