It seems as though OS is way out of touch with or doesn't wish to product target our SIG. I know that we're talking 4 stroke here and making cost / power comparisons, but THE engine , IMO, that would meet our needs and SELL LIKE HOTCAKES would be an OS 160FX with a user friendly integral backplate pump , a few internal mods and a proper carb. I guess the 160FX will morf into a 170 AX or something else in a year or two to appeal to the masses ...but a pure pattern , non-EFI version ?? Unlikely. In the mean time , the 140RX and 160FX w/ Perry or Iron Bay type pumps will satisfy many ,including me.
