Default RE: OS 200 price at Tower...

You see, IMO OS got stung when they pumped so much energy, money and hype into the 1.40RX. Regardless of all the trumpet fanfares, it was somewhat of a dog from day one. Sure the best two banger to date but it never just kinda worked 110%. It's taken many years, slight changes and mucho experimenting by us lot to get it to function 98%. Then out of the blue, OS introduced the1.60FX.
This was proceeded with no fanfares, no hype just kinda turned up in the shop. The problem was that this non special, cheap sports engine perfromed far, far better in an F3A plane than OS's own dedicated F3A engine! Imagine the curesing. Here's something knocked up by a couple of juniors in the sports engine department that completely blew away the big budget and brains department responsible for the 1.40!

Now, there a real chance that history could repeat it's self.
If OS make an normal supercharged motor, it'll produce exactly the same power as the FI yet function, simpler, better, easier... and cost considerably less.
Thats the one we want and we want it to deliver on 15%!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not 20% or 30%....... 15%! No batteries, no electrical leads. No black boxes, no down load to your PC and make Excell sheets out of your engine tempurature data possibilities.
Now somebody give the project to those juniors in the sports engine department.
