GP Venus 40 Balance Point, Help!
Yesterday I had the first test flight of my new Venus 40, two good friends was helping me with the trimming and balancing of the plane. They are serious Pattern competitors with some won contests under their belts and they were very amazed how this little plane was flying but they had two commentaries that I want to share with you all folks, I need advice of them who had this plane and had flown successfully:
1.0 Center of gravity per the instructions should be 4 5/8 from the leading edge
In my case I am flying with a saito 72 and, when inverted i goes down too soon so the experts had told me that this plane should need the cg moved to the back.
2.0 The thrust should be moved a little more to right because of the torque of this particular engine.
Please share your experiences.
Thanks.
Alfred.
