RE: GP Venus 40 Balance Point, Help!
My initial set up was considering to use a Saito 82, but I had a 72 around with out a use and decided to give it a try, no regrets since it flies the Venus great, not overpowered but also there is no lack of power. initially I set the CG right per the instructions but when inverted the plane tends to go down abruptly (more than what is comfortably), I moved the battery from the tank place (that was giving me a CG of 4 5/8 from the leading edge) to the back of the servo tray just under the elevator and rudder pushrods, and performed a few more flights and in the hands of these guys who have won several pattern contests and that have told me that the plane still is nose heavy. I do believe in them but also want to know if some one else has moved the CG to the back and what far.
Thanks again
Alfred.
