Default RE: axe cp thread

Hi guys I have been lurking for some time but recently I got in some more stick time and am happy to report my Axe is hovering smooth as glass. [8D] I am super-pleased with my Axe CP and can hover side in Left and Right with confidence! I can go nose-in all day long on the sim, but get freaky with model, so slow, patient and steady practice is the key.

To bring up new readers, I am running DX7 radio w/ AR6000 rcvr, LiPo TIP 1320, plus Gy240 with everything else stock. Still on my 3rd set of blades! Longest mileage yet!

My DX7 program for hovering is working all too well - but its very unstable when attempting forward flight. The next step is to set up a "Stunt Mode 1" where I will have increased headspeed and * some * negative collective pitch. I was told I needed some negative CP because I may get a gust of wind and need to fight being popped up to far too fast. The increased headspeed should buy me the stability I need.

I am eager to find a cheap replacement for the tail motor. I think mine will wear out soon and I would rather not spend $25 on that little $1 piece of chinese garbage they sell us. [:'(]

My stock electronics had a problem but with a carefully worded email, they sent a replacement free no questions asked. It CAN be DONE!
