I know what you mean. I have one student that I've flown with about 20 times now. He won't, absolutely refuses, to fly below 10 mistakes high. He's up so high that I can barely see the plane. I'll take the plane back and bring it back down to a good altitude and give it back. Bang, back in a climb as fast as he can. He enjoys flying but just way up high.
