I am looking forward to that exact challenge this upcoming off season. My plan is to cut the covering as close to the joints as possible, visible epoxy and all and recover according to Minn and RCKen's technique of doing small strips in the corners first. Then doing the larger sections. The epoxy between the surfaces is the stuff thats holding it all together anyway, and disturbing that just makes me nervous. After all, thats the section of the plane that withstood the nose in attitude with no apparent damage, must be attached well.
