Default RE: 10 ft PC6 Turbo Porter

on those wing struts, how is the end fastened to the strut itself? does it come from Sea Commander that way?

thanks for posting up the progress, i'm watching whenever there are new ones!

ORIGINAL: marnochs

Slowly advancing, boy the old saying of 'the devil's in the details' aint lying. Masking and painting the panel lines on the top and bottom of one wing. Then marking off the rivet lines. I think I got one extra rivet line on the back of the wing.
Finaly got around to fabricating the wing strut attach fittings, there not scale but I wanted something that would be easy to assemble at the field and stand up to hanger rash. On the inside of the wing I extended the 1/2x1/4 spruce rail the fitting attaches to so I would have a longer mounting surface. Wing strut tubing is 1 5/16" streamline tubing from http://seacommander.com Full size Porter photo is from MRAerodesign's Porter Photo pack. very handy
