RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!
Barrrick,
Yes my friend I see that you have seen the way of the larger heli. Simply and ungramatically put. MORE BIGGER = MORE STABLE.
I have been wanting a bigger heli for a long time. (wind blows too much at my house, very few days for the cpp)
I did a ton of research and recently decided on a TT Mini Titan over the Trex. I spoke with many who own both and everyone seemed to describe the titan as more smooth or more stable.
It is also a tinsy bit bigger & heavier (ie more stable) I found my kit (w/ bl & esc) for $200
I think the frame design and ease of maintinance is better on the titan also.
I just thought that if you are looking into a larger class heli that you should concider that there are a few options, not just the rex. Thunder Tiger makes the ever famous Raptor so I assume that the MT should prove to be well designed. Also Helimax makes a mx400 & mx450 that are also popular.
I am very excited to have a 450 heli now. But the bcpp will always be around.
I still say Wheeeeeeeee.....Blade Cp. I love this little guy for around the house and in the house. And when the wind is down this thing can really rip it up. Also it is very simple and has a very low part count. I think eflite designed this heli perfect for what it is. a very tiny very capable heli. However I think that they over marketed it and underemphasized the need to be an expert pilot to fly it well. Also the parts could definatly be cheaper. It is sad that allign sells their woodies for $10-11 & eflilte wants another $5 for a cheaper smaller set of woodies.
