RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!
Choppers Here Again:
TIP OF THE DAY FOR BATTERY TRAY MODIFCATION:
For the Blades Series Helis:
If your having trouble getting the CG centered on the blade, especially if you guys that have added the dual motor tail drive, being nose heavy.
Try this modification, It's designed to move your battery farther forward as needed to get the CG correct. The current battery tray has it's limits to move forward and really support the battery properly, sooo, I modified it. About a 15 minute job. Mostly for the tail heavy dual tail motor guys.
Basically, this mod makes the battery tray longer.
See attached Pictures:
1: Original battery tray and some old battery tray arms I had from the super skids. But, any plastic piece will work. Even some hardwood cut to the proper dimensions. 1/8 x 1/4 x 2 inches
2: Cut the battery tray in half, (using the old dremel cut off wheel) make the extention pieces about 2 inches. Two required.
3: Assembled mod: Just glue the extensions to each half. (Don't know why, but on this plastic, CA didn't work, liquid plastic cement didn't work. I ended up using JB Weld epoxy, now that stuff works.
