Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

Well...to me even though I don't have a Blade anything, this seems to be the place to be. I got new friends over on the HBKII thread as well, but they're not as tight nit as this group is. Rick...the HBKII is working out great for me. Had a pretty good crash last night but in 4 hours of switching parts, it's 100% flyable again, and the crash was MY fault, not because something failed on the heli. Need to NOT put 'er up with 8-10mph gusting to 16mph...that was dumb. Took her out tonight after dark and tried the porch light thing....didn't crash, but I better leave that one alone too or get a yard Mercury vapor light going...just too dark. The HBKII calls for 275mm main blades, I'm running 252mm. The response from input seems quicker and I know the headspeed is cranking with that brushless motor and ESC. The HBKII seems to be very reliable to now and has good stability. Getting rid of the stock motor issue cured a lot of problems. I hope Arrow can get a handle on his so he can see just how nice this heli is.
