We had some unusually cool weather this weekend, did some "huck'in" DOD, will probably be my last flight until September. I'm getting more comfortable with rollers much lower than when I started doing them. I did a few down to 6' off the deck, about as much pucker I can handle for now. The Do does them so slow, it makes it easier. I'm getting lower because I'm getting better with the entry & exit, I used to come out of them in a bad way, sometimes heading down. What a difference a washer can make for hovering too,I removed the up-thrust I thought I would need & it stopped pulling to the canopy, I was giving it almost full down elevator constantly, now it requires way less to hold it. Its strange, all my other Doos needed up thrust, this one doesnt?
