Default The Difference ????

Occasionally, "warbirds" seem to be attached to those military aircraft that are pre-Korea, and prop driven, whilst "warplanes" appears to be attached to those military aircraft Korea era and later and jet powered.

This is my guess, based on all the coversations I have had with respect to military aircraft in general.
