Best is a subjective term. NitroNuisance never specified best performance or best price. Actually we both missed his question. He asked

Anyways, I was wondering what the most powerfull batteries are I can use with this set-up?
Since he is using the XL-5 esc the answer to his question is 9.6V reguardless of the manufacturer.
