Viper - I have a Twist 40 with a Magnum 46, battery is under the fuel tank, and no added wieght. You should be ok without the lead in front. I'd imagine that the .52 is a bit heavier. How's it for performance? I love the 46 but it takes awhile to crank up RPM with a big prop.
It seems to do ok. Need to get a different prop I think though. It has an APC11x6 on it now and I was thinking more along the lines of 12x4. It won't quite hover as it is. I was given some fuel that is only like 12.5% nitro and I'm at almost 6000'. Thinking that 15-20% may be better. I usually run 30% coolpower in all my other nitro motors but not sure about Mangnums, they recommend castor and I usually stay away from it if at all possible. Gotta say though that the motor is snappy, and it runs better after each tank as it was still new when I got it.
