I understand the urge to just want to go out and fly. I've done it myself. With the results listed above. If you truely want to find a club you can. As listed above apparently there are many around, you just have to look. If you really want to go out and fly alone then go for it. But i would recomend the powered glider setup for a loner. There slow and give you alot of time to react and are very stable. Although there not anything like flying a nitro trainer, but are the best chances of success.
