Just as a matter of interest, I used to have a snow machine with a Sachs Wankle around 400 CC. Driving at night the ex pipe would glow a cherry red which was normal. Just to give an idea how hot they did run. Just the nature of the beast. Much more torque on takeoff than the normal two stroke.
