The trick to this stuff is that the surface you are spraying has to be dry. I dont mean dry to the touch but just so you dont see the wetness of the prior coat. I had the same problem. To fix it I waited till the next day. I mixed up another batch and sprayed 1 light coat. Approx 15 to 20 minutes later when the wetness was gone I sprayed 1 more light coat and it was completely flat. This stuff works great but you can not put it on heavy. The more you put on without the wetness going away the glossier it gets.
