Default RE: Futaba 9c radios and their color

Thanks for the quick surplus of responses.

Unfortunately, some responses seem to conflict so I'll attempt to summarize what we know.

Futaba denies making silver faceplate's.
Marcellus owns a silver TX. Could we get details on whether your was by default airplane, helicopter, synthesized, ppm or pcm and whether it was a super? Thanks
Zeeb says all current models in both Super and regular are manufactures in silver (contradicting Futaba's claim).
Mscic says the original 9c he owns is gold. Is this synthesized? default airplane, helicopter, ppm or pcm? Thanks
Funfly8 has a gold original, pcm modulated transmitter for airplanes. Is this synthesized?

Perhaps we can discover a pattern based on a trait of these transmitters. If we make a list of the 9c transmitter everyone has an whether it is gold or not I think we can do this.

If you have a 9c transmitter, please post the following.
1. Gold or silver face?
2. Super or non super series?
3. Default modulation (PCM or PPM)?
4. Synthesized?
5. Manufacture date (if you can find it)?
6. Default aircraft type (airplane or helicopter)?

Thanks again for all the help, you guys are great.

Michael
