You could go brushless for less then the price of a regular rtr 18b.
Of course, that would most likely be stupid, as you would be well into an extra $100 of broken parts after the first week of brushless.
I agree after seeing first hand how the regular brushed version drive train is holding up I'd hate to spend $130 on the brushless version.
also, I've been reading on here for quite some time and now I'm confused...aren't the "outrunner" motors for planes?
