Ca Glue
Most CAs are NOT solvent proof. Some of the more expensive ones are solvent resistant. There are a couple that are solvent resisitant and water proof, meaning you can submerge the joint in the solvent or in water for 24 consecutive hours and they will not dis-bond. Loctite makes one and Zap makes one called Flex-Zap. However, it is still a far beter idea to use an Epoxy based product as a fuel or solvent barrier. One of the best agents to use to dis-bond a CA joint is nitromethanol. This is the same product that ued to be present in some of the Debonders for CA until the EPA banned that type of ueage. So, CA may not be a good idea anyway. Still confused? FT
