Default RE: Quique Somenzini YAK-54S 73"

ORIGINAL: dszabo2
I have this set up on my yak and several other planes. Works great.

Just like dszabo2 I have Sullivan tail wheels on many planes and they do work great but the weight of that 73" Yak is listed as 11-12.5 lbs and I would recommend the Sullivan for 10-22 lb planes http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFV48&P=M .

The difference is not immediately visible but the one for 10-22 lb planes has a thicker 3/32" diameter spring steel axle and maintains it's shape better, especially if you'll be doing harrier landings.
The pictures show the 10-22 lb Sullivan bracket mounted on my 76-inch, 10.75 lb Ultra RC Giles 202.
