RE: CX2 Upgrade or move on?

I drained 2 batteries using the dynam motors recharged and tried again with one battery still results were poor so I changed back and have been flying happily since. The only strange thing I noticed with the dynam motors was when with a fresh battery first lift off I could gain altitude not at record speed, but it went up all the way. From there any manuver brought it down, or hovering longer than 5 sec. brought it down. From there on I couldn't get 3 feet off the ground. That's why I suspect the electronics maybe battery discharge rate or the esc in the 4-n-1. The motors did not even get hot nor did the battery. And as far as break in, not sure have to ask the myth busters. That's up for debate. To my knowledge I don't think there is a break in period for any electric motor. Just power up and go, like a drill or ceiling fan.
